UNESCO, WORLD HERITAGE SITES OF INDIA

  UNESCO   UNESCO MEANS the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization. The Constitution was signed on 16 November 1945 but it came into force on 4 November 1946. The first session of the General Conference was held in Paris from 19 November to 10 December 1946. It was attended by representatives of 30 countries. Most of its regional offices are in the form of clusters, it has national and regional offices. It has 27 cluster offices and 21 national offices. At present the total number of member states is 195.  UNESCO Purpose is to promote international peace, development and relations through the promotion of education, culture and science. It has a general assembly every two years which includes all member states and observer countries. UNICEF

  UNICEF  On 11 December 1946, the United Nations established UNICEF in Newyork City, USA and  in India its regional office is in New Delhi. UNICEF, acronym of United Nations Children's Fund. United Nations International Children's Emergency Fund, ensuring that they respect children's rights, efforts to improve the health, nutrition, education, and general welfare of children. The board is made up of government representatives elected by the United Nations. It is governed by a 36 member executive board that establishes policies, approves programs and oversees administrative and financial plans. Its totally relies on voluntaries fund given by the private and government sectors. UNICEF works for 190 countries and union territories.  

E-RUPI

  e-Rupi    e-Rupi is a digital currency Payment app lunched  2nd August 2021 by the Prime Minister of the country Shri Narendra Modi, through this app government aim to promote the digital transactions in India, download this app on your mobile through SMS string or QR code. By this app without any credit or debit card, mobile app, all can take benefits of e-Rupi service.  It has been developed by the National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI) collaboration with Department of Financial Services (DFS), National Health Authority (NHA), Ministry of Health and Family Welfare (MOHFW). 11 banks connected with e-Rupi. These banks are: Axis Bank, Bank of Baroda, Canara Bank, HDFC Bank, ICICI Bank, Indusind Bank, Indian Bank, Kotak Bank, Punjab National Bank, State Bank of India and Union Bank of India.  

GST

  GST   The Goods and Services Tax (GST) is a value-added tax levied on most goods and services sold for domestic consumption. The GST is paid by consumers, but it is remitted to the government. The proposal was presented in 2016 for constitutional amendment. GST was implemented on 1 July 2017 for reduce tax- deception.  GST Council having 33 members, out of which 2 members are of centre and 31 members are from 28 state and 3 Union territories with legislation.  The 4 types of GST in India are: SGST (State Goods and Services Tax) CGST (Central Goods and Services Tax) IGST (Integrated Goods and Services Tax) "Integrated Goods and Services Tax” (IGST) means the tax levied on all interstate transactions of taxable goods and services. UGST (Union Territory Goods and Services Tax) GST Divided into four slabs, they are :- 5%, 12%, 18% and 28%.
